La Rebelión de Atlas ha sido el mejor libro que he leído en mi vida. He tenido ideas libertarias desde siempre, pero este libro me hizo emocionar profundamente. Tiene frases muy fuertes, sus palabras muy exactas, las ideas de Ayn Rand muy claras.
Mi ideas liberales quedaron más fuertes todavía cuando terminé de leerlo. Me enamoré de Ayn Rand, y me decidí a seguir leyendo otros libros escritos por ella. Me costó conseguir El Manantial, y cuando terminé de leer este segundo libro sentí asco de la gente, asco de la religión, y de todo lo que es políticamente correcto y moralista.
Siempre supe, desde que era adolescentes, que los moralistas eran realmente unos hipócritas. Me di cuenta porque mi hermano era miembro de un grupo de acción católica de la iglesia y los veías como hipócritas y farsantes.El moralismo era una careta que usaban.
Ayn Rand, aborrece el altruísmo y lo considera el veneno que esclaviza a los hombres. Los postulados de la izquierda son muy moralistas, muy altruistas, pese a que la izquierda socialista-colectivista parece estar en veredas opuestas con la iglesia.
Las obras de Ayn Rand son absolutamente fantásticas, y principalmente La Rebelión de Atlas que es la mayor de sus obras, pero no le resto méritos a "El Manantial", una verdadera joya, y "Lo que vivimos".
Por ser tan exacta, tan clara, tan exquisita y tan francamente sincera nunca le diero un premio, porque sus libros reflejan la verdad crudamente. Los círculos intelectuales de la época, tan socialistas como los actuales y quizá más intentaron ningunearla. Ayn Rand es una amenaza mortal al pensamiento izquierdista, también a la religión. Los mata usando la lógica que es lo que estas ideas colectivistas no tienen.
Si la encuesta de la biblioteca del Congreso de los Estados Unidos dice que La Rebelión de Atlas es el segundo libros más vendido,porque primero está la biblia, si La Rebelión es el primero en influencia en el pensamiento de quienes la han leido. La Rebelión de Atlas es infinitamente superior a la biblia.
Es más la biblia queda como un libro mediocre, obsoleto, bullshit.
